Refund for Damaged Goods

At Swaadya, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes things may not go as planned, and we want to make the return and refund process as smooth as possible. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and the process for returning products.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return under the following circumstances:

  • Damaged Products: If the product was damaged during transit or arrived in a broken/tampered condition.
  • Defective Products: If the product is stale, has an off smell, contains foreign particles, or is clearly not fit for consumption.
  • Wrong Product: If you received a product different from what you ordered.
  • Missing Items: If one or more items from your order are missing from the delivered package.
  • Expired Products: If the product has already passed its expiry date at the time of delivery.

Important: Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery. Requests raised after this period will not be eligible for returns or refunds.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for returns:

  • Products returned due to change of mind, taste preference, or personal choice.
  • Products that have been opened, used, or consumed (unless defective or damaged).
  • Products that were stored improperly by the customer after delivery, leading to deterioration.
  • Products purchased during clearance sales or marked as "non-returnable" on the product page.
  • Gift cards and e-vouchers.
  • Custom or personalised gift boxes made to specific customer requirements.

3. Return Process

Follow these simple steps to initiate a return:

Document the Issue

Take clear photographs or a short video of the damaged/defective product, including the packaging and shipping label. This helps us process your request faster.

Contact Our Support Team

Email us at info@swaadyanpds.com or call us at +91 00000 00000 with your order number, photographs, and a brief description of the issue. You can also raise a return request from the "My Orders" section of your account.

Review & Approval

Our team will review your request within 24-48 hours and get back to you with an approval or any clarifications needed. For damaged products, we may request additional photos.

Return Pickup or Resolution

Once approved, we will either arrange a free return pickup from your address or provide a resolution (replacement or refund) without requiring the product to be shipped back, depending on the nature of the issue.

Refund or Replacement

After inspection (if applicable), we will process your refund or ship a replacement product. You will be notified via email at every step.

4. Refund Timeline

Once your return is approved, refunds are processed based on your original payment method:

  • Refund timelines may vary slightly depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • For COD orders, we will need your bank account details (account number, IFSC code, and account holder name) to process the refund via NEFT/IMPS.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong product, damaged, or defective).

5. Damaged Goods Policy

Our Promise: If you receive a damaged or defective product, we will provide a 100% refund or free replacement -- no questions asked. Your satisfaction is our highest priority.

  • Please report damaged goods within 48 hours of delivery for the fastest resolution.
  • Provide clear photographs showing the damage to the product and the outer packaging.
  • Do not discard the damaged product or packaging until your return request is resolved.
  • For severely damaged shipments where the product is unusable, we may process a refund without requiring you to return the product.
  • If you prefer a replacement over a refund, we will ship the replacement at no additional cost with priority delivery.

6. Order Cancellation

  • You can cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it, provided it has not been dispatched.
  • To cancel, visit the "My Orders" section of your account or contact our support team.
  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You will need to wait for delivery and then initiate a return if needed.
  • For prepaid cancelled orders, the full amount will be refunded to your original payment method within the timelines mentioned above.

7. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order for the desired product. If the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged product), we will provide a replacement directly.
